Ahrend
Product Life Cycle, Strategic design
February, 2016
This project was performed for the master course Product Life Cycle Management (PLM), commissioned by Ahrend. I worked on this project together with Jorien Alers, Nathalie Bekkering, Marloes Hengeveld, Jildou de Jong and Randy Kommerkamp. For Ahrend, a PLM strategy was needed to address the core bottlenecks of the company and manage products across their lifecycles. The final result is an analysis of the company structure as well as deliverables needed for implementation of the strategy.
This project was for the master course Product Life Cycle Management (PLM), commissioned by Ahrend. I worked on this project together with Jorien Alers, Nathalie Bekkering, Marloes Hengeveld, Jildou de Jong and Randy Kommerkamp. For Ahrend, a raising question was: what is the most efficient way to organise and work in the business environment when the company faces so many different orders all the time and is still growing? A product life cycle management (PLM) strategy was needed to address the core bottlenecks of the company and actively manage the company's products all the way across their lifecycles. The final result is an analysis of the company structure as well as deliverables needed for implementation of the strategy.
